We were contacted to do an investigation in a
private home (the homeowner has requested to stay anonymous).
The description of experiences primarily surround a child in the
home, but three adults in the home have had experiences. These
experiences described for the child include: Seeing
shadows and apparitions, hearing sounds, seeing items move. The
adults witnessed sounds, shadows and watched a book physically
come off a shelf for no apparent reason.
The IKOPS team entered the home about 7pm in the
evening and received the briefing from the family. The child and one of
the adults chose to not be onsite during the investigation, and left the
property for a few hours.
Equipment used during this investigation:
Still Digital Cameras, Digital Video Cameras, Tape and
Digital voice recorders, EMF detectors, ambient temperature devices and
a non-contact temperature device.
We also had two mediums onsite, one tech, and three investigators (one
known to be a skeptic).
Our findings:
HIgh EMF in the kitchen area directly related to
electrical wiring for incoming power
Photos of self illuminating light sources from a digital camera in a
darkened room (flash used). Photos taken 15 seconds apart show the same
area with no anomalies, then with light artifacts in the shot.
Personal experience by one investigator (the skeptic by happenstance) of
a drawer opening on a nightstand about 1/2-3/4" inch while he was
sitting on the bed next to it.
